About SCOUTz

SCOUTz is a product of RYTHMz, the 2025 ASCII Cup Vendor of the Year. RYTHMz built its business around a simple partner rule: build for MSPs, never around them. SCOUTz follows the same model. It is delivered through MSPs, supports their client relationships, and puts their brand at the center of the security conversation.

The idea came from the field, not a whiteboard. Working alongside our MSP partner base, we kept seeing the same gap: MSPs walked into sales and strategy meetings with brochures and promises while other trusted professionals walked in with evidence. We built SCOUTz to close that gap. It brings together public domain signals and customer-approved Microsoft 365 evidence, then turns those findings into a scorecard an MSP can explain, prioritize, and deliver under its own brand.

RYTHMz was named 2025 ASCII Cup Vendor of the Year by the MSP members of The ASCII Group.

SCOUTz was founded by Steve Copeland, who built and sold two MSPs before RYTHMz and wrote The 3AM Test for MSPs. The wider team has lived on both sides of the managed-services relationship. That experience shapes what we build—and what we refuse to build.

SCOUTz is designed to assess security configuration and posture, not employee documents, email bodies, or file content. It is not an employee-surveillance product. It does not use personal breach information for shock value. And it does not silently change a client environment. The evidence, decisions, and remediation work stay where they belong: with the MSP and its client.

Point it at the opportunity. Walk in with evidence. RYTHMz has grown by helping its partners grow, and SCOUTz was built to continue that work.
