The products overlap at the moment when an exposure record creates a reason to talk. Dark Web ID specializes in finding and monitoring that class of data. SCOUTz is built to preserve the exposure's limit and connect it to the wider account conversation.
Who Dark Web ID is right for
Dark Web ID is a natural fit for an MSP that wants ongoing dark-web monitoring across managed organizations. Kaseya's current materials describe continuous scanning, actionable alerts, compromise reports, notification controls, and integrations with products and workflows in its ecosystem.
The Live Data Search capability also gives partner users a prospecting path. What a breach match proves
A breach match can establish that an email address, domain, password material, or other identifier appeared in a particular source or dataset. The source date, collection method, data type, and matching confidence matter. The finding may be important even when it is old because it can reveal password reuse, account lifecycle, or awareness questions.
The same match cannot independently establish that a current password is valid, an account is still active, an attacker has access, or the organization is presently compromised. Those are stronger conditions that require stronger and usually authorized evidence.
This boundary applies to every product, including SCOUTz. The difference is whether the report keeps the boundary visible when the finding is used in sales. A useful report should tell the rep what is observed, what remains unknown, and what question comes next.

An MSP can keep Dark Web ID as the specialist monitoring source for managed organizations and use SCOUTz for the wider pre-sale evidence picture. If Dark Web ID produces a new exposure alert, that observation can inform the account conversation without being upgraded into a claim of current compromise.
SCOUTz can preserve the source and limit, combine the observation with other supported account evidence, and document the next question. If the customer authorizes a deeper review, the MSP can evaluate supported Microsoft 365 conditions and decide what work belongs in the PSA or security stack.
The deeper or more direct source should govern the claim. The systems should add context, not multiply alarm.
